Raising Cattle Responsibly Since 1978
What Started It All!!!

D & J Cattle Farms was established in 1978 by our parents John and Deb Niedzielski. They were determined to raise their two daughters on a farm instead of in the city. They first started out by raising hogs from farrow to finish until the hog market crashed. In 1983, they turned their sights to dairy. Mom and Dad purchased our first 4 heifers named Lightfoot, Midnight, Three Corners and Sunshine, and so our love for cows began. We grew our herd to approximately 70 head before selling out in June of 2000. The cows were sold because us girls obtained our college degrees and decided dairy farming was not for us. The oldest daughter started a career in Environmental Health while the younger daughter started her career in Accounting/Business. After the birth of our children, we decided to come back to the farm and raise our children the way we were raised. Instead of dairy, we decided to raise good quality dairy beef, hay and corn. Today, we currently raise around 200 head of all natural grain fed dairy beef and farm approximately 400 acres of corn, oats, wheat and hay.
